About This Oil

Organic Bergamot Essential Oil is a brilliantly fresh citrus oil cold-pressed from the peel of Citrus aurantium bergamia, a fragrant fruit cultivated in the sun-drenched hillsides of southern Italy. Its distinctive aroma — sparkling, fruity, and softly floral — has made it one of the most beloved ingredients in fine perfumery and the unmistakable scent behind classic Earl Grey tea.

Fragrance Profile

Bergamot opens with a bright citrus top note that gradually softens into warm, gently floral undertones. It is cheerful, light, and refreshing — equally at home as a solo diffuser oil or as a top note in custom fragrance blends. It pairs beautifully with lavender, ylang-ylang, patchouli, sandalwood, and neroli.

Aromatherapy

How to Use

• Diffuser: Add 4–6 drops to an ultrasonic or reed diffuser.
• Massage oil: Dilute 2–4 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil (rosehip, baobab, or tamanu work beautifully).
• Bath: Add 5–8 drops to a tablespoon of carrier oil, then blend into warm bathwater.
• Fragrance: A single drop diluted in jojoba or tamanu oil makes a lovely roll-on citrus fragrance.

Bergamot Oil contains natural furanocoumarins — avoid direct sunlight or UV lamp exposure on skin areas where this oil has been applied for at least 12 hours.
